There is a little worm inside of me that understands somewhere underneath, everything is cold spaghetti.

But sometimes, that little worm just keeps digging. And finds itself on the soft velvet underside of all of these things that leave me feeling unlovable and unworthy.

There is a point to the story somewhere.

And maybe it is here, where everything oh so serious, is suddenly upside down.

Or maybe it’s not.

The Soft Velvet Underside of Everything was a zine and illustration-based installation piece. Created out of mainly recycled materials, this oversized tunnel book was a look straight into the big mouth of the things we are most scared of within ourselves, with the hope that s0mething there is beautiful after all. And that maybe the things we like the least about ourselves, are the most important. Even if it's a little weird.
